Pullet stoped laying

Two days ago my Black Minorca squeezed out her first egg since then she has not laid i swear i saw something that said that they lay there first egg then stop for a week then continue.
Or am im just being inpatient?

Give her time. It takes a while to get the system up and running properly. You also have shortening day length working against her.
