One of our pullets started walking with a limp. I don't see any injuries, and she doesn't seem to be in pain. Otherwise she seems really healthy, she's eating and drinking fine, and the other hens aren't bothering her. I think she may have injured herself getting on/off the roost. My husband is going to add one more step for her on the roost. I'm going to put her in a dog crate inside the coop for a few nights to see if it helps her heal any. Anything else I need to look for, or do for her?

About 26ish weeks. When we bought them he said they were 20 weeks, but I'm pretty sure they weren't quite that old. They haven't started laying yet, and her comb and wattles haven't turned red yet so I'm pretty sure she's not as old as the others. She's a production red.

Well if she injured it you will just have to give it time to heal. If it gets worse I would suggest bringing her inside and putting her in a sling with food and water accessible. Some Nutri-drench, boiled egg yolk, and some yogurt could help give her a boost for healing.

Thank you so much for your help, she is doing much better this week! My husband ended up building a ramp for her! She is still limping some but it is much improved.
