Pullet with closed pussed eyes

She is alone , I've been watching her for sometime. I bought her about two weeks ago, shes about 10 weeks. Started with what appeared teary eyes. Was still eating and drinking very well. Very active loves when I come outside.
Today when I returned from Church, both eyes are sealed shut. Goobers coming out nose. I opened one eye and puss came out along with blood. Eyes look very bad. Appears to still be eating and drinking well also active for not being able to see. Any advice ?

Edit : Appears my friend whom also bought a pullet from same person is also sick. Same hatch group.

My honest advice is to put her down. She has something that will infect your flock and start a cycle of heartache you really do not want. If there is blood, it could be ILT, a nasty disease for which the state can destroy your entire flock-that's how bad some of these are. Not worth saving one hen, IMO. Sorry about your trouble. You haven't put her with your flock yet, have you?

She's been in same yard , but has stayed seperate from my others. I've been watching this one for the two weeks I have had her. She didnt show any signs when I got her but within a few days she started showing teary eyes like bubbles in her eyes. She isn't with my flock so I will wait till moring and if she is still like she is I will cull her

I'm very upset. It was very hard. I couldn't cut neck so I chose the car method. Also she had been around a chick same age as her. Also isolated. Should I worry and how long do I look for signs ?

Well... here's what happened with my chickens. My Silkies just had bubbly, watery eyes and some were sneezing. I pulled them from the general population (These were hatched by me in September, so I know their history)
I put water soluable terramyacin in their water and used the terramycin cream on their eyes 2x a day. I gave them yogurt and added vitamin to the yogurt. I increased their protein with hamburger, beef liver and scrambled eggs.

It took a good 7-10 days, but they all cleared up. I checked them over today well again (they've been with the others for 2 full days) and they still have clear eyes, and none of my standards show any illness.

Might be worth a try before you cull. Not sure about the blood, unless you pulled some feathers when you pulled off the boogers? Mine had boogers too, but no blood.

I'm sorry it was so hard. I keep trying to get people to understand that even if you administer antibiotics, most of these diseases are still in the bird's body, they just go into hiding. The birds can still be carriers of it and infect others. Doesn't matter if they seem to have recovered. With those symptoms, I would never allow the bird into my flock, no matter what, even if it seems to get well. Some of these diseases are nothing to mess with. It's never easy, but think of it as protecting your flock, as we all should. Your friend that got one of the birds needs to know this, too.
