I am sorry to hear of your loss. I took two of my birds to the vet today with the same symptoms you describe. She prescribed a mite med. to go on their heads 2x for 5 days and Tylan which is a very strong antibotic. If this does not clear up within a week, she recommends culling the flock. Getting rid of all poop and bedding and disenfecting with bleach and water. She says this is probably a chronic respiratory virus that is highly contagious and will spread through the flock. Do not get anymore chickens for at least 6 months because the virus can be in the ground. I will keep you posted! 8 of my 20 chicks are sick!!! All was fine until I bought from a private person and mixed with the ones I hatched.
