I have a silkie pullet that was attacked by a dog a few days ago and lost an eye due to the attack. Today she has been more active but I notice some clear drainage coming from her nostril and some yellowish mucus in her good eye. I have liquid amoxicillin that I got for my cat and would like to start giving her it because I fear she has an infection. Since she weighs less than a pound I am confused as to how much I should administer. Any help would be appreciated!

Pictures will help more experienced people here to identify issues, especially good quality close ups of the nostril and eye

Amoxicillin dosage is around 50-57 mg per pound of weight given twice a day orally for 7-10 days. How much does she weigh, about 2 pounds? Please post any pictures. Sorry for her injuries. Clean her eyes with saline or an eye wash, and follow that with an antibiotic ointment in the eye twice a day.

She weighs less than a pound. I am going to get a more accurate weight when I get home.
