Pullet with small tumor around the eye? pictures attached

One of our 3 1/2 month old Rhode Island Red pullets has developed a small pea sized bump right behind her eye. It is redish and has a small brown/black dot in the center. Its solid to the touch and she doesn't seem to mind when its being inspected/pushed on. She doesn't have any other symptoms. Seems to be happy and active as usual. Can anyone identify what it is and what we can do about it?? Pictures are attached. Many thanks!

It could be a bug bite/sting. I don't see any noticeable discharge from her nostrils or eyes that would indicate a respiratory disease.
