I keep my 6-2 month old pullets outside in the run and my 4 -3 weeks old chicks in the garage where the first ones were kept.
Every morning when I wake up or get home from work I let the pullets out of the coop/run to free range in the backyard. I then get the babies and let them free range. Slowly integrating them.
This morning I let the pullets out and took the trash down to the street. When I can back I could not find the six. Found them in the garage checking on the littles.
