I hve 14 pullets that are 8-10 weeks old in the coop. I'm totally impatient in waiting for eggs so today I added two laying hens a little over a year old. They integrated fine with no problems and the nesting boxes are ready, but honestly I just now thought about the difference in feed. I know these two older gals need layer ration, but how do I seperate the feed so the younger gals don't get to it. Or is there an acceptable supplement I can give them alone to add what he grower ration is lacking?

Thanks so much!

Only thing I know to tell you is to switch them all to Purina Flock Raiser and supply oyster shell to your chickens.

What I did when I integrated my old and new - I fed them a flock raiser or gamebird feed that was a higher protein -
You could always keep them separate
