I was given 7 adolescents at the beginning of the month and I sure hope my pullet/roo ratio is better than theirs. 5 are roos. They picked the eggs up from some farmer along the way and took them home to hatch them. They are now 11 weeks old. Now comes the fun part, what are they?

#1-This one I believe to be a EE:

#2-Is this an EE too? She doesn't have the muffs and tuffs. But look at the leg coloring.

So EE's don't have to have the muff/tuff things? I can pray both will lay the greenish eggs-although only time will tell!

Thank you! Then I would say she is an EE too! Now to keep the fingers crossed for green eggs!

Sometimes the second set of juvenile feathers will have that kind of barring. Mine usually grow out of it when they get their adult feathers.
