Good morning from Victoria, BC, Canada. My name is Doug and I have just brought home 5 - 18 week old Rhode Island Red pullets yesterday.
My first day with "The Ladies" and I am a bit nervous that I'll make them comfortable and happy. I will post pictures soon of their new home.
I live in a Municipality that allowed hens but made it very difficult to get them. I, alone, rewrote the bylaw and am now the first legal coop in my neighborhood.
Thanks for this great forum and detailed webpage. I took many pieces of advice when designing my coop.
Now - THE LEARNING BEGINS.
