Pullets have started laying!

My 24 pullets are now laying along with my older hens!

The top brown egg is one of my older hen's and the other 4 are pullets'. And that giant white one on the right is one of my pullet's first eggs.

Good grief poor girl! I wonder what was going through her chicken brain when she was trying to lay that whopper of an egg! Congrats on the first egg though! I have one more pullet I’m still waiting on to lay. She’s one of my favorite little girls so I’m very excited!

Four this year. Last year I had seven. One of those seven waited until February. This year I have two olive eggers and a Maran that started a couple weeks ago. The polish pullet is still holding out! Surprisingly an older hen just started laying. She just weened some 10 week old chicks so I guess her body was saying its go time!
