Pullets i just got

u think 2 is a light? she looks nothing like my other light brahma did. but i do love my light brahma. im calling her brahma momma. Id welcome another light. Cant wait till the am and get all these guys some new pics for all of u.

Looking at chick pictures I also think #2 might be a Light Brahma.
weird. maybe my light brahma was older than i thought when i got her. these ones were on sale she was the full regular price the one i have already. Id welcome another light for sure. one i have is a beautiful and sweet bird.

Hoover's Hatchery (which I'm pretty sure TSC uses for chicks) has this picture below on their website for the Light Brahmas. Some can have almost all yellow down while others have more black or gray.

Oh got some pullets today. to replace some males ill need to rehome soon. trying to get the guy to get the right breeds was shady at the least since there were 3 or 4 breeds in each bin. I think i have 2 Barred Plymouth rock and 2 lavender orpingtons. should all be pullets so i dont have to find any more boys homes. my poor little boys.... Ill get better pics in the AM since i didnt have much time wiht them this afternoon. just got them in the brooder and had some worries with 1 i think are resolved. now winding down for the night trying to figure out for sure what i thinkt hese ladys are. I think i got the breeds close based on what the signs showed at TSC.

Waiting for better pics. So far I, too, see a Light Brahma and two BRs or CMs (white skin-CM yellow skin-BR)
Picture one looks like a Black Australorp, 2 might be a Buff Brahma or a Cochin, and the last two are Barred Rocks. When you get a chance, better pictures would help. No rush though!

TSC generally does not carry Lavender Orpingtons (they are pretty hard to find, pure bred).

@Rhodebar Lover @cherrynberry
Picture 1 does look like a black australorp, picture 2 looks like a light brahma and then the 2 barred rocks.
I agree with Dakota, TSC does not carry the super rare birds like lavender orps.
Where did you guys get that information from??

First off, TSC is not a hatchery, they tend to get their stock from Hoover’s. And Hoover’s DOES carry lavender Orps. I do agree that the OP doesn’t have any lavender Orps, but TSC does have them. Lavender Orps are not “super rare”

Hatchery-quality doesn’t mean the bird is mixed. All it means is that it’s not the top quality bird. Nonetheless, don’t expect hatchery birds to be top-notch.
