Pullets or Cockerels?

They turned five weeks old today, so they might not be old enough, but I'm posting today's pictures anyway because they are also adorable.

They look a little to young to me....but I'm not a expert. Sorry, no help from me.

Please post again in a couple of weeks. If your marans are male you will probably begin to see redness appear in the combs and wattles very soon

Alright, thank you. I'm very eager to figure out which are cockerels; it's super exciting.

agreed, too early to judge. Nothing jumping off the screen saying cockerel yet, but that can change.

So far they look like pullets but sometimes the late bloomer can surprise you. Keep us updated over the next few weeks

Okay so one week later, they turned six weeks old yesterday. I know the one probably isn't old enough, but the rest are fully feathered or very close to fully feathered.
