They look male to me. The dark one has pointy looking hackle feathers. The tail feathers look like a couple might be getting a bit longer than the others (but hard to tell in these pics). The light one has a lot of wattle growth for the age, and a 9week old female is Not likely to have that much wattle growth
 
ok thanks, I will try and get some more photos. I did have 2 young ones fighting abit yesterday so that might explain why. Shame didn't need anymore Roos
