Hi all! I have 7, 8 week old chicks (BCM, barnyard, chocolate mottled opringtons) I’m looking to get some opinions on as well 2 easter eggers (around 16 weeks old). Any help would be appreciated!

1st one: cockerel
2nd one: pullet
3rd one: leaning cockerel but I’m not 100% sure
4th one: cockerel
5th one: pullet
6th one: pullet

The last pictures look like the same birds in the previous pictures?

I am no expert but those are my guesses!

Thanks! The group of them at the end is the 7 chicks, I was just trying to get good pictures of them all (surprisingly hard!). I knew a few were roos, but some of the others were tricky. :)

Any one with a red comb at 8 weeks old is male or cockerel.

All the ones in the 7th picture are your cockerels. The bird directly behind the cockerel in the 8th picture looks like it will end up being a male as well.

What about the ones that have combs but they are very light pink?
At 8 weeks a comb should be pale light pink if a female. Different breeds have different combs so size is not the way to determine. At 8 weeks, no red = female.Bright Red = male
