Greetings:
I just purchased 4 Rhode Island Red pullets, which had been raised in a roofed building. As far as I know they have never been outside. Now they are huddled against the far wall of their new coop and show no interest in even going to the floor (where the food and water may be found).
Ultimately we would like to have them roam the chicken yard, outside, and return to the coop at night. Should I give them more time before propping opening the coop door? It has been a day and a half.
thanks
Sean
