Pullets stopped going to bed at night - any suggestions?

Be sure to check the temperatures and don't force them to roost in an over-heated coop.

Right now it’s a degree cooler inside the cube than outside. The whole bottom is open below the roosting bars.

Then probably "teenage" refusal to go to bed behavior (almost like actual human kids).

I have seen my roosters rounding up late-stayers and making them go to roost.

Where will your gals nest when it's time?

The four that I have living in the Cube are laying already (2 and 3 yr olds). I have a nesting box in the run on the ground. It's just a cat litter box that has a removable top. In the winter, I put the cover on it to keep them out of the wind. Those hens will lay wherever I put the fake eggs. My chicks are in a separate coop, but I plan to do the same (cat litter nesting box) for them. I'm currently building a new (bigger) coop and then will probably hold onto the Cube as backup or sell it.

Also if you all can believe it, I had them out playing in the yard a bit before dusk and one of them decided they’d had enough and went back to the run and right up into the coop. Then the rest followed!

I gave em a few mealworms inside to sweeten the deal.
