We have two Americauna pullets, they are about 4 months old. They wont come out of the next box except to eat and drink. I think they got scared from when our two barred rocks turned out to be roosters and picked on them relentlessly. We got rid of barred rock roos, but they are still afraid I think. The other girls don't bother them too much, they are the bottom of pecking order, but still other girls don't chase them. They won't come out ot the house, or nest box. Which they are pooping up the nests all day long, and the other girls dont like it. Even if I clean it twice a day, they go right back in and sit and poop. I can't lock them out of house, because they other girls still need to get in and lay. Any ideas??????

You could create a small enclosure away from the nest boxes in the middle of the other hens area to get them used to hanging out with the others in a safe way.
