Pullets with dark purple combs

I have been raising some cross bred chickens which are now 4-5 months old. The pullets all have dark purple combs whilst the cockerels have red like their parents. They are offspring from a Silver Spangled Hamburg rooster and an Old English Game bantam hen. The pullets all seem extremely healthy. Why would they have dark purple combs ?

Looks like gypsy face. Not sure how it's passed down, but I have a pullet similar. It's nothing wrong, jist pigment

It looks normal, my glw had that when she was young but grew out of it.

Just the color she inherited. Striking hen.

Thanks for your prompt replies. I had never heard of gypsy face before. I am encouraged that the wattles have developed a red colour in the last week. Maybe the comb will change too.

All the pullets from this cross have the same colour comb not just this one. Will be interesting to see if any stay the dark colour.
