One of my chickens bent over and expelled a stream of milky water from mouth. She’s around 5 months old. I didn’t notice any smell, nor did I feel or see anything in crop. I don’t notice anything abnormal about her either. She eats, drinks, and acts the same as always, however I have sporadically noticed her burping a few times while holding her. Wondering if I caught it early or could it be something else other than sour or impacted crop. Any ideas?

It would be a good idea to check her crop first thing in the morning before she's had anything to eat/drink.
If the crop is emptying, then I would just continue to monitor function every few days.
If the crop is still full in the morning, then use the article linked below to access the treatment needed.

It's not that uncommon for a bird to bend over and a little liquid come out after they have filled their crop (been eating/drinking). They do not have a gag reflex.
Burping when you hold her may be due to your pressing on the crop in a certain way. Do take care that you are not pressing the contents back up the esophagus into the air way where she can aspirate. Chickens do not have a gag reflex.

Thank you, she still appears normal, hopefully everything is good. I’ll keep an eye on her.
