Pumpkin for worms?

Hi, this would be too good to be true, so.... does feeding your chickens pumpkin kill worms they may have without doing them any harm? Can you use the real pumpkin in cans? Thanks so much!
 
Only the seeds of the pumpkins help really, it is the coating around them. It doesn't kill the worms, but relax the scolex and makes it easier to pass the worms.
