One of my little chickens got pickup up by our german shepard. He didn't maul it or anything, but there are two puncture wounds through it's skin.

What can I give it to help it fight off infection and such.

Any advice?

I have no idea... But atleast its alive my husky literally just picked up my silkie and it died of shock.... No punctures wounds or anything just shock...

Cleanse the wounds with chlorahexedine diluted, 3 x's a day, put neosproin on the wounds. Be sure to flush debris out of the wounds. Keep them very clean, use a guaze pad to wipe the wounds out. and then add the neosporin.

I would clean with either antibacterial soap and water (dawn is safe) or warm epsom salt water. I would put NuStock on the wound, it's sold at some feed stores. I found it at Wilco, Coastal supply didn't have it.

NuStock is:

Fighting infection internally: I have found collodial silver to be a magic medicine for infection, you can find it at Whole Foods
