umm...i was picking up a chick, my BRAN NEW, White Crested Black Polish chick, and my little brother (whoes like 8) and he got mad and smacked the chick out of my hands
it was like in slow-mo
the chick was falling, wings flapping, crying, then fell on its side and i freaked the french toast out!!!
and now he keeps head banging...whats wrong with him??

I would keep him away from the chicks, he may have actually injured that one with head trama.

AKPeeps had a silkie that did that. It was because the poor hen was pecked on the brain (they have vaulted skulls, so....) and she was brain damaged.

I think your polish is brain damaged, too.

Head trama.... Keep it away from others, make sure that it is getting food and water. It should come back around in a week or to. But if it does, it may show signs again if put in a stressful situation. Some give Vitamin E drops to help it heal. Good luck!

Little Brother doesn't need to be around chicks. I'd keep my chicks in a secure location away from someone/anything that could hurt them.

Not a bad consequence.

Kids don't always know what is best, especially when it comes to small animals. He needs to be kept in a very controlled environment around the chicks until he can understand how fragile they are.
