I know that the personalities will develop and change over time; but some basic traits can be seen early... more feisty, less feisty, quiet, outgoing, timid, etc.

Actually she is a hamball. A huge fluffy ball that does nothing. She will sleep off by herself. Doesn't really care what is going on around her she just wants to sleep...And eat and poop.....and start the cycle all over again....I had to move our file cabniet out the other day because one of the puppies was missing and low and behold it was her....Just sleeping away. I pulled the file cabinet out, picked her up and moved her to a different spot. The whole time she never woke up. Last night she was in the bathroom just a barking and howling away. She was trying to get out. But not through the door....THROUGH THE BATHTUB!!!!!She was standing at the tub barking and crying like she wanted out....And she was OUT!!!!
Really this one is my favorite.......Can you tell....

Oh how precious. I would want her too.

There's still more puppies...You don't wanna pass up the chance to come to WI in our lovely lovely artic weather we are having do you...-35 below windchills and all...Come on!!! hahahaha I'm sure we will still be having this nice heat wave when the puppies are ready!!!

I can't believe I haven't seen this thread...I want one!

Would you please call my hubby and tell him I need one of these. I've been working on him for a LGD for over a year now. He's so stubborn, he hears "guard dog" and thinks it will be a big mean aggressive mongerel.

I just want a big fluffy companion to hang out with my goat and chickens and scare the coyotes and mink away.

Where are you in Wisconsin? Travel to Hudson or Mpls/St. Paul ever?

Western Chick - Where are you? I go out Runamuck's way several times a month, so I could definitely pick up for you! I'm halfway between Hudson and Roberts and I work at Ft Snelling in St Paul.

I'm actually out in the boonies...West of Alexandria...but we have lots of friends and relatives near Hudson.

It's still a big shot in the dark, I'd love to get a puppy but DH just isn't having any of it. He has a "thing" when it comes to dogs...

I told him I really want a LGD and prefer not to wait until a coyote attacks my baby goats to prove that it would be a worthwile purchase. He's well aware that I remind him of this every time I hear of puppies or dogs available within reasonable distance from us. (you'd think he'd get a clue!)

I'll run this one by him and maybe he'll give in...hopefully there are still some to pick from then
