Puppy attachment issues

We taught Nacho "go lay down!" and he goes and looks sad under the table and lies down. With Nacho though, you have to say it loudly and sound really angry with him, otherwise he'll just sit there like "duhhh?"

My two mixes are velcro to mostly me OR whoever is "Top-Dog" in the house at the time. They have a lot of freedom to roam our 5 acres, and, thought they listen better and better, they do nose around the whole property (and the fields behind us.) When I took the older, Rose, up to visit my mom in the hospital in June, she wouldn't let me out of her sight. She also didn't let me wander out of HER sight. When I left to buy groceries she almost lost it. Guess that's why I like to get my dogs as puppies and raise them.
