Puppy/Dog Food

How adorable! I am glad more and more people are starting to care about what they feed their dogs and cats.

We feed a mix with our 8.

My female pit bull gets TOTW soon to transition to EVO. She's allergic to grain. She's on the lean side, but since the protein is so high it seems to take longer to bulk up on than the high grain/filler foods. What she puts on is PURE muscle tho

my lab and lab mix get a mid grade food- Right now it's the Sams version of eukanuba senior.

my outside pitties get the 'junk' food- usually dog chow or proplan. I tried Diamond and it made their poop like spackle. I like that it is kind of a filler food and makes them a little thicker because they need it being outside ( in our oh so cold southern winters

I really wanted to like blue buffalo and gave it some time but all 4 of my dogs and 2 cats all had diarrhea for the 4 weeks I tried it for. I switched them to it gradually but it just didn't seem to agree with them.

My last dog left all those little vitamin bits in the bottom of the bowl and would have nothing to do with them.

We did Blue Buffalo Wilderness for a while but Riot was very gassy and had many stomach issues. He has to be on grain free, so for now Canidae grain free is working best for him. We have tried a few different things including raw but he is very prone to diarrhea, so we really have to watch what we give him.
