Any dog breeders here?
I'm looking into getting some show quality Afghan Hounds and thinking about breeding. What sort of setups do you have? I'm thinking something large and extravagant, with canopied cribs, long indoor lounge chair for the momma, and eventually a large playpen for when they're older. Any ideas?

I've never had Afghan Hounds, or even any large breeds but I do have experience with lots of grooming. My yorkie had long hair, almost reaching the floor. We cut it short (but still long on the legs, ears, and topknot) because she's crazy, and she got tangled when she has outfits on.
(We got her from a AKC breeder who had been breeding for over 50 years)
Anyways, she had daily grooming

I have tons of sprays, combs, brushes, and other grooming stuff.

When researching Yorkshire Terriers, breeders, grooming, and training, it took about a year. Since I want to get into breeding I'll probably research for at least four years, and I'll probably be on a wait list to get my first two.
I'd want to get champion blood line, which will be expensive, but by this time my business will be more developed, and I'll probably have another job, and my own house.
At this point I'll have a large yard since I want to have goats, ducks, chickens etc..
So lots of space to exercise.
I'm friends with my groomer and I want to take some grooming lessons since my current dogs are high maintenance, and my future dogs will probably have long high maintenance hair as well.
I have no experience with dog breeding but know some people who do, and I want to take the time to learn everything about it first.
I'm still not sure if I'll show them, but maybe once I get into breeding I'll do that.
I want to be a dog trainer as well, so maybe I'll have a bit of experience in that area.
Something I'm really excited about would be decorating the puppy room. Here's my plan if I had a large room:
Large puppy proof crib at the back of the room with a canopy with a crown at the top
A large handmade wooden playpen with atent luke canopy that can slide around the playpen
A closet with supplies
A chair
A large lounge chair for the mom
And a dresser for extra supplies and to set to puppies on to weigh, and check on

I had a sketch of it but I can't find it now...

I've been trying to find what other people's setups look like but haven't found many so I'm taking inspiration from baby nurseries.
I spoil my dogs so it will be really fancy looking lol

Anyways, one of the things that I really love about Afghan Hounds is their hair. It caught my attention and I learned about them and just fell in love with the breed overall. I'd like to meet one in person but they aren't very common.

Here's some pictures that I saw that I really love of them
