I have two Pyr mixes too, unfortunately I didn't get them until they were 3 months old, so they were already about 30lbs. Training went very well and fast while on the leash, they are so smart and willing to learn. However, training off the leash is a bit of a problem cause they are so fast and they know I can't reach them. They "play attacked" my chickens several times. My chickens DID NOT defend theirselves for some reason, and my roo is a push over I guess, and they haven't been taught by the chickens that it's not ok. I was forced to use a shock collar on them. It's going well, but slowly. The female tries again every once and a while.
