Purchased old feed

Hi all

I am new here. I have a flock of 75 CornishX -almost three weeks old. I am still feeding them starter mix. I will be switching them to grower mix in a week or so. I recently bought 250 lbs of broiler grower mix from my local mill. It was dated October, 2012. This seems a bit old. Are they trying to pawn off old feed on the new guy or will this feed be OK for these fast growing birds?

Seems old to me. I bought a 50lb bag of Purina feed once and it was bad. They said it was within the 6month period. But they did send me 2 coupons for 2 free bags of feed at TSC.
