Also, i've read that pekins don't nest well. Again, not my main goal. But if i am being honest with myself, that time will come, eventually... haha

Pekin are not known for being broody or raising their own young that said nothing is written in stone. my buffs are not either and both went broody but the eggs were not fertile because they lack a mallard drake.. i have them with Muscovies... which is a harder one to have work(Muscovy are not mallard derived).. it didn't in this case.

One more question. If I get a couple varieties of ducks to go with the pekins I already have will they "flock" together around the yard? Or will they tend to separate ?
