Purchasing vaccinations

I have a dozen chicks coming the first week of April and the chicks were to be vaccinated. The woman I was ordering figured it was going to add a lot of extra cost so when she placed the order, she elected not to vaccinate. I have no problem, she ordered 85% of the order. I was wondering if anyone here vaccinated their own chicks against Marek's and the more common illnesses hatcheries vaccinate against. Is it possible to purchase the vacs myself and do them at home?

You could do it your self, but i really dont see need. Most of those vacs are for large operations. The only thing i would worry about is coccidiosis which you can stop from happening by feeding a medicated chick starter.
