I have five baby campbell khaki ducklings, at least I believe they are, but I had males of other breeds so they could be mixes, their all grey feather wise but have mottled colored bottom beaks. Is that normal for them or are they mixes??

Thanks! So was mom a khaki campbell for sure and you're just wondering if dad was too? If so, what other males do you have?

Mom/s are definitely campbells. We had a muscovy a pekin, and a brown campbell at the time we got these eggs in the incubator. Hovever, the brown khaki male didnt really like the other two so the two seperate flocks rarely mingled. Though I have seen both the pekin and muscovy males mate with the khakis females since mating season started. The male khaki even tried to mate my male pekin donald, whom was mating with one of the brown khaki females at the time (wish a got a pic)

Well, the male that bred with the females has to have been chocolate for you to have gotten chocolate ducklings, so I would say the chances are good that the khaki is the father, BUT it's possible the pekin is actually chocolate 'under' the white, so it's not 100%.

When you're saying brown campbell, you mean the khaki drake, right? You're not meaning there are two different drakes and one is khaki and one is 'brown'?

Muscovy crosses take 32 days to hatch so if they hatched on time on day 28, he's definitely not the father.

The little one hatched yesterday, a full week later then the other ducklings. Though we do know we have one muscovy mix for sure. But this one is pekin muscovy.

The brown khaki male is the brown khaki campbell breed. Just like the ducklings mother/s
