Pure EE or EE mix roo?

Quote:
I was getting sort of excited when I thought I had an Ameraucana, but in light of the fact that all my EE birds are mutts I am reevaluating my breeding strategy. I was just going to go with a mutt flock and add a new an interesting roo every year, but I think I have a better plan.

Right now I have 3 Barred Rock hens, 1 RIR and 1 EE. So for now, I can tell the breed of the mother just by looking at each egg. So when I use a Barred Rock roo, I will only collect eggs from the Barred Rock and the EE. When I use a RIR roo, I will only collect eggs from the RIR and the EE. When I use the EE roo I will collect eggs from everybody!
