I have a juvenile male that i hatched out this year that i really need to find a home for. When I purchased my pair of adults the breeder told me they were pure, and i haven't found any markings that would say otherwise. I do not have the space necessary to breed large amounts of birds but would like to attempt to strengthen blood lines. If there is a breeder in my area I would love to give them the male if they thought they could use him in a breeding program. I'm almost possitive my birds are pure, and at the very least several generations removed from amherst blood. If anyone is interested please let me know, pm or this post. If you want i can put up pictures of the adults. If I can't find a breeder he'll probably go to the bird auction, which i would like to avoid. I'm not sure if this is the right way to gop about doing this, but i figured its worth a shot.
