My barnyard mix chicks are getting bigger! two are feathering out exactly like my last lot that I know were crosses of two different breeds but two are feathering out pure white which is a first!
Parents were listed as - Dads leghorn and Rhode Island Red. Mums Rhode Island Red, leghorn and Sussex. I also have a little black chick but I think his dad was a black and white rooster that wasn't listed
I'll start with the first two that I believe are crosses (2 photos each)

Now these two I was expecting to feather up with a little black like their older sister did last year but they are feathering up pure white. do you think I got lucky and both parents were the leghorns?

It never crossed my mind I could get leghorns even though she owns both hens and a rooster, I think because I didn't get any last time lol. It would be nice though since we lost our blue leghorn rescue this year

They do look yellow but I don't think as yellow as they should be for pure Leghorn. Hard to say for sure this young. Update with pics in a few weeks.

My LH is not purebred. Her legs were flesh colored as a chick. They are now white. They changed justa’ bit as she got older.
My most favorite chicken ever! My deep love started with this chicken. Excellent large white eggs. Super smart bird, and she’s a cuddle love. I’m lucky to have her.
