Have you ever heard the word “coopitecture”? For us, it’s a fun way to talk about coop architecture!

We tackle commonly asked Coopitecture™ questions in this video from our farm, including: What kind of ventilation should your coop have? How many nesting boxes do you need? How often should you move a mobile coop, such as a chicken wagon?

What’s your best coop tip? Tell us below!

At the bare minimum two square feet per standard large fowl, one for most bantams. Make sure there is plenty of ventilation with windows, and wire mesh for protection, have around one nesting box per three chickens, and below the perches you can put a board and have a raised wall to slide it under to collect poop.
