Hello, I have bought this feed before , but it's been a long time. My chickens mostly eat this, but I gave some to my ducks today. They usually eat Mazuri Waterfowl pellets. I need to buy more, and gave them this instead. Does anyone know if this is medicated or non medicated? It doesn't say anywhere on the bag or label.

If it doesn’t obviously state medicated, it’s non medicated. Medicated feed will have it printed obviously on the label.
I hope not. It does say it's for meat birds too. My birds are family, not food. Is it still okay to feed them this? They all seem to love it.

Just called Purina. They said only the crumbles are either medicated or non-medicated. The pellets are always non-medicated.

Purina Flock Raiser crumbles are non-medicated. Been feeding it to my flock for several years, since I have a variety of ages and laying stages. Just transitioned my 17 week old pullets over to FR, since I used up my last bag of the starter/grower.

Don't forget to provide a separate source of calcium (crushed oystershells; clean, dry, crushed eggshells) for your laying hens to access if feeding them FR.
