Interesting read, explains what is in med feed and how it works. you maybe on to something with your dog.Medicated chick starter.????..is this whats making my Rat Terrier deathly ill?...the vets can't find anything wrong with her..vomiting and dark watery stool...(I know..to graphic) but this is the pattern thats finally emerging after 4 seasons with the chick boxs at the house...and a garbage gut Ratty who eats everything...I was looking for the tag to my last bag to see what the medication is in it...and start googleing...Im at my witts end!!! ....... Many $$$$$$$$$'s later....
Most medicated feed will KILL ducks, but some types of medication are ok. Dave Holleread's book has a lot of info on this.
Please give me some actual data...not your "thoughts". There is plenty of data showing medicated feeds are OK...BTW...the medication isn't an antibiotic.

No, doesn't make any sense....how is the mode of action of amprolium like an antibiotic? What does amprolium do and what do antibiotics do?
Guess, having a PhD in waterfowl biology means I have never read a book on ducks....what book have you read...even Storey's guide says medicated feeds are fine.
I asked for data...guess you have non.
