Purina omega 3 laying formula with flax seed

I feed my hens flax seed cause I bought a large bag of it for the horses and goats. They love it. I grind it for the horses and goats but the hens get it whole. It does not come out the back end in seed form, so they obviously digest it very well.

Can you buy flaxseed at feed stores ... ? This would be a good option... thanks
