she has lots of nice fresh hay in the cat carrier in the feed room. It's insulated in there. I fed her some micactin (had some because my goats had ringworm in the fall)- could this be from the goats? I also fed her some chicken vitamin/electrolyte powder in warm water and left her with a dish of it as well as water with Apple cider vinegar with the mother. A small dish of high quality natural yogurt and a few ground feed pellets sprinkled on top of it. Hope she makes the night.
Yes, it sounds like sour crop. This may have been going on for some time. I would try to give her fluids and electrolytes. I have never been able to save a chicken with really bad sour crop, but I hope that you can help her. Nystatin is good to use.
