Purple comb

Is there anything I can do to treat this? I only noticed this the other day. It's not warm in the bathroom, but it is quite cold, though not freezing. I noticed it on the back couple of points too.

Can you post a picture of the comb from the side? Is the comb mostly pink with dark tips and in the back? Does it get more pink at times? Pictures may help us help you. Stress and cold can cause some darkened tips. If the whole comb is dark, that may be from a lack of oxygen getting to the heart. Make sure that he is not dehydrated, and offer fluids or electrolytes. Any other details would be helpful.

He is definitely drinking, though some days more than others. I keep trying to attach a photo, but something isn't letting me.

The large area at the back part of his comb is mostly purple, and three of the back tips are purple. Wish I could insert the picture.
