Purple Guineas

Hi, again. I wasn't sure if I should ask two different questions in one post, so here is another query I have about my Guineas. I only began to see hints of purple after they were quite large. They will be a year old in March. I emailed the hatchery I bought them from, but received no response. How long until they appear royal purple? They are mostly different shades of gray with a slightly purple hue on some feathers at this time. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

They can have a purple sheen in the right lighting.
