Our silver laced Wyandotte is 2 years old. 2 weeks ago I noticed that she had a purple lump under her vent. I thought it was gleet. We washed her, applied witch hazel and neosporin. We also brought her to the vet where she received a antibiotic. They thought is was gleet but now The purple lumps are showing up other places on her body and her comb is swollen. The purple lumps have start ed forming scabs. Any idea what it is?

The sores and red spots do look like possible breast blisters or irritation from a rough rough roost bar or lying in damp bedding. Are there any biting insects or ants around the coop? The face and eye look a bit swollen, which could be early sign of a respiratory disease or a sting of some sort. Do you see any signs of conjunctivitis (pinkeye) such as bubbles, foam, white gunk, or pink membrane? Any sneezing or labored breathing?

Her perch is pretty standard. She spends most of her time playing in the yard or perching on my patio furniture. LOL The bedding is clean and treated for insects. The sores are in various locations on her skin. Which makes me wonder if it is something viral or at least internal causing them.
She does have some sneezing and hopefully the antibiotics help with that.
