Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me on the genetics of the cross the peacock is the purple split black shoulder. I am relatively new to peafowl I've been trying to learn basic genetics but i know that the purple is a sex link so its kind of throwing me for a loop any help is appreciated

Purple rooster put over any hen will give purple hens and IB split to purple roosters.

Not unless one of then have split white.
purple cock + IB hen = female purple and IB BS cock
purple cock + purple hen = male and female purple chicks
purple cock + white hen or hen split white = female purple split white, Male IB split purple white
im sure I’m missing a lot of variations of what they will give but the basics of what I thank that you are wanting?

oh! I forgot to take it out! I was writing it with purple BS because he has a purple BS then decided to simplify it and forgot to take it out
