Purplish comb

I lost an orpington Roo a few days ago he had a purple comb and his legs were very purple he appeared very weak I put him in a cage by himself put nutri-drench in his water and gave him his own food he was eating and drinking but he died overnight it's been a few days and now another Roo that was in the same run as him has a purplish comb and is very weak what could it be I don't see any bugs
There's only three roosters in this particular run and two ducks and it's a very large the chickens have a lot of space to roost and they're not sitting in poop

Purple combs can be a sign of oxygen loss.
Have you noticed any signs of a respiratory illness?
