So I know the humidity will change but now my bator is sitting at 95 will it come back up? I've never hatched in a bator, so I don't know. It was sitting at 101 before adding eggs. Any and all help is appreciated!

How long ago did you add the eggs?

Give it some time. It should eventually get back where you want it. Realisticaly, a little too cool is better than too high. If you eventually need to adjust the temp control, do so in VERY small increments.

Putting eggs in will ALWAYS drop temps as they are much cooler then the inside of a heated bator. The number of eggs and the type of bator with then decide how long it takes to get back up . What kind of incubator do you have and how many eggs did you set and were they lare fowle or small.? I would give it a good 4 or 5 hours befor starting to worry at all. If you turn it up to soon and then the eggs reach temp later the temp in the bator could spike up .

After 4 hrs iT didn't go back up.. So I tweaked it little by little and at one point it got to be 103! are they now dead?

How long did it stay at 103? Im sure they will be fine if not more than 4hrs. Did you get it back to 99.5 or 100.5 those are the normal ranges depending on if it a still incubator or fan forced incubator.

Its sitting at 100 right now. Its a still air incubator I think I finally got it under control! It wasn't that high for more than three hours I think about an hr.
