Anyone ever put Buff Orpingtons and Silkies together in the same pen? I was wondering how it'll work. I'm looking into getting new chicks, and I'm in love with both these breeds. Currently I have one Dominique hen and 2 barred rock hens. If these three hens won't get along with the new ones I'll just get rid of them. But I really would like to know if Orpingtons and Silkies would do well together......even if one of the silkies turns out to be a rooster and one of the orpingtons is a rooster.
