Putting baby chicks and ducks to barn/coop

I already have them in a hutch outside
Hey, I used to live there!

You should be fine, you'll want to slowly lower the heat a bit every day til the spot under brooder or heat lamp is room temp, then put them outside only during the day for a few hours. You should be able to have them outside in a week.

I just got a baby rooster yesterday, so I’m trying to move them out as soon as the coop is ready which should be this week

What age or when is the best time to move the baby ducks and chicks from their little baby hutch/coop to the barn/ coop?
Baby chicks and ducks have very different feed needs. Mine love having space to run too so long as they can find their way back to their warm spot, but I keep different species in their own food specific areas. The high protein food you use for guineas and turkeys would cause overgrowth for chicks, and ducks can't tolerate medicated feed and need more niacin.

I keep them all together. They all get non-medicated feed. And they all get doses of Niacin in their water along with electrolytes ❤️
