I've had to remove some eggs from my broodys nest as they werent fetile, I'd quite like to keep our numbers up and give her some day old chicks when her remaining eggs (hopefully) hatch. Hers are due to hatch on 31st August/1st September being sunday/monday. Alot of places where I can get day olds are hatching on a wednesday...would I beable to use any of these chicks as adopted ones for her? If so which is going to work best, chicks that hatched the wesnesday before hers or after? Or am I just going to have to deal with the ones she has left?

I'm not sure. I'm thinking it would be best to be able to add them at the same time as the others are hatched, rather than a few days afterward. If you do decide to add some, I would suggest doing it at night. She will be more likely to accept them that way.
