I have 3 older (not that old, just not laying anymore) button quail pairs and I wondered if it would be possible to keep them together? I have a rabbit hutch type thing that I'm currently using for my extra males but I would move them out. It has a run where they can get at the super long grass, and I'd put lots of hidey-holes in. If it wasn't working out I would separate them. This was just an idea, not sure if it has any possibility of working out.
Thanks for your time.

They might be okay, they might not. Each bird/pair will have their own personalities. The more space you have, the better the chance it has to work. They need a minimum of 1 square foot per bird, more is better.

Ok, thanks. I’ll have to measure tomorrow.
